The Last Neigh

Al-Saheel Al-Akhir (The Last Neigh)” is a cinematic film-series project that recounts the story of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). In the first part, we follow Imam Hussein’s journey to Karbala—from his departure from Medina until his arrival in Karbala. The second part portrays the events of Ashura, bringing this painful tragedy to the screen. The third part explores the heartbreaking aftermath of the tenth day and the captivity of the Prophet’s family—his womenfolk—peace and blessings be upon him and his family.

The film combines historical accuracy with a world-class cinematic narrative and a modern visual language, presenting Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and the tragedy of Karbala in a contemporary, global style that speaks to every human being and to the world at large.
