The film follows Imam Hussein’s (peace be upon him) journey from his refusal to pledge allegiance to Yazid on the 27th of Rajab in Medina, through his departure to Mecca, then his path toward Iraq until his arrival in Karbala—portraying courage, faith, loyalty, and sacrifice within a powerful and moving dramatic arc.

The key stages of the journey between Mecca and Iraq and the pivotal encounters along the way—how the Imam established the proof against all, affirmed the legitimacy of his cause, who joined him, and who abandoned him and left him alone.
With the arrival in Karbala, the first part of the story comes to an end. The next chapter continues in Part Two, following the unfolding events up to the day of Ashura and culminating in the martyrdom of the Imam—peace be upon him.
